The Role
The Head of Acquisitions will be responsible for building and executing our acquisitions strategy end-to-end: sourcing, underwriting, structuring, negotiating, and closing deals. You’ll also be tasked with building out and managing a high-performing acquisitions team as we scale.
This role requires a strategic leader with a strong track record in multifamily acquisitions and the ability to grow deal volume to $100M+ annually.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute Stack’s acquisitions strategy across Oregon multifamily markets
Source deals through broker relationships, direct-to-owner outreach, and creative channels
Lead underwriting, deal structuring, and negotiations on $5–20M transactions
Oversee due diligence and closing processes in coordination with lenders, attorneys, and partners
Build, train, and manage an acquisitions team (analysts, sourcers, transaction coordinators)
Report directly to the leadership team and help shape overall investment strategy
Who You Are
7–15 years of experience in real estate acquisitions, private equity, or related roles
Proven track record of sourcing and closing $100M+ in multifamily transactions
Strong network of broker and lender relationships, ideally in the Oregon/Pacific Northwest markets
Advanced underwriting and financial modeling skills
Skilled negotiator with experience structuring creative deals (seller financing, JV, LBO, etc.)
Leadership mindset: able to build and scale a team
