About Stack Asset Group

Stack Asset Group is a vertically integrated real estate investment firm with over $100 million in assets under management and deep expertise in multifamily, self-storage, and development projects. Our in-house divisions cover acquisition, construction, property management, syndication, and brokerage — giving us full control of the investment lifecycle.

We specialize in creative structures like leveraged buyouts (LBOs), seller-financed transactions, and ground-up development, with a focus on scaling a multifamily portfolio across Oregon. Our goal: build a world-class acquisitions platform and grow into one of the most active operators in the region.

This Acquisitions Associate role is designed for someone who is hungry, coachable, and ambitious. You’ll work directly with our founding team, gain exposure to every part of acquisitions, and have the opportunity to grow into a senior role — with the potential to become Head of Acquisitions as we scale.

What You’ll Do

As Acquisitions Associate, you’ll play three core roles:

1. Sourcing & Broker Relations

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with brokers across Oregon

  • Monitor on-market deals and call brokers to uncover seller motivations

  • Assist in off-market sourcing: direct owner calls, direct mail, and distressed property lists

  • Keep our acquisitions pipeline full of qualified opportunities

2. Underwriting Support

  • Collect offering memorandums, T-12s, and rent rolls

  • Input data into our in-house Excel models

  • Prepare concise one-page deal summaries for leadership review

  • Grow your underwriting skills with mentorship from senior team members

3. Transaction Coordination

  • Manage deal timelines from LOI → PSA → Due Diligence → Closing

  • Coordinate with lenders, attorneys, title, inspectors, and sellers

  • Track deadlines (earnest money, financing contingency, closing dates) in Notion

  • Ensure no task slips through the cracks during DD and closing

Who You Are

  • 2–5 years of experience in real estate acquisitions, brokerage, lending, or finance (preferred, but not required if you’re hungry and learn fast)

  • Confident communicator with the ability to build trust with brokers and owners

  • Organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in Excel and project management tools

  • Entrepreneurial mindset — you don’t just want a job, you want a career path to leadership

  • Bonus: prior underwriting or multifamily investment experience

What You’ll Get

  • Direct mentorship from the founding team with $300M+ of transactional experience

  • Hands-on training in sourcing, underwriting, and closing multifamily deals

  • Exposure to vertically integrated operations (construction, property management, brokerage)

  • Competitive base + per-deal bonuses, with potential for equity/carry as we scale

  • A clear pathway to Head of Acquisitions within 24–36 months based on performance
