About Stack Asset Group
Stack Asset Group is a vertically integrated real estate investment firm with over $300 million in closed transactions and deep expertise in multifamily, self-storage, and development projects. Our in-house team handles acquisition, construction, management, and brokerage — giving us full control over every phase of the deal lifecycle. We specialize in creative structures like leveraged buyouts (LBOs), value-add strategies, and seller-financed transactions, with a focus on delivering high IRR and long-term value.
We are seeking a highly motivated intern to support our asset management team as we scale. This role is ideal for someone passionate about real estate investing, financial performance, and long-term career growth.
What You’ll Do
As an Asset Management Intern, you’ll work directly with our Asset Manager and gain hands-on experience managing and optimizing a growing portfolio of commercial real estate assets.
You’ll also work closely with our in-house construction team, which completed over $40 million in construction in 2024, including ground-up multifamily developments and a variety of complex renovation projects. This gives you a unique opportunity to learn how construction and asset performance intersect.
Responsibilities:
Support financial tracking across our portfolio (NOI, rent rolls, cash flow, capital expenditures)
Review and organize monthly reporting from third-party property managers
Assist with underwriting, lease audits, and market performance analysis
Coordinate with the construction team on project timelines, budgets, and progress reporting
Monitor capital improvement plans and vendor accountability
Contribute to investor reporting and performance updates
Help build tools and dashboards for portfolio oversight
Participate in strategy meetings around operations, refinancing, and dispositions
Who You Are
Interested in real estate investing, construction, and financial performance
Detail-oriented and comfortable working in spreadsheets and systems
Clear communicator and fast learner
Eager to take ownership and grow into a senior role
Bonus: background or education in real estate, finance, construction, or business
What You’ll Get
Hands-on training in both asset management and real estate development
Exposure to vertically integrated operations and complex deal structures
Mentorship from seasoned operators, developers, and investors
Clear pathway to a long-term role on the asset management team
